Causes Anal cancer refers to cancer that is in the middle of the hemorrhoid. The junction of the sigmoid colon and rectum is a common malignant tumor in the gastrointestinal tract. The incidence is second only to gastric and esophageal cancer. It is the most common part of colon cancer, accounting for about 60 percent of hereditary cases. Most are over 40 years old and less than 30 years old.
